I believe that we should not be biased when hiring such as hiring a woman over a man or a man over a woman we should hire over how well they can preform the tasks they are given and wether or not they meet the requirements. I also disagree with the idea that a customer or a coworker will be influenced by the gender of the person who is serving them or the person they are working with because most people do not pay much attention to the gender of other coworkers so that would not affect their efforts to work with that person. Some workplaces have a bias when it comes to the gender of who they hire witch can be a major problem because one employer may have a bias to hire men when another employer may have a bias to hire a woman so that would put the other gender at a disadvantage when applying for the job because the employer is not looking at your skills but your gender. And because of this bias to hire a certain gender certain businesses have more women than men because of their bias such as babysitting services and waitresses because the employer believes that women can preform these tasks better so they will have a personal bias to hire a woman when men can preform the same tasks women do. In conclusion if you have a bias when hiring your employees based on gender that may lower your businesses effectiveness because the employer may pick a woman with minimal skills over a man with better skills.
The question of whether hunting is right
Introduction
When people go out hunting they usually have the intent to kill and eat the animal they kill right? some Americans hunt for sport for the fun and the thrill of hunting not to survive but to have fun. peoples opinions on this are varied but i believe that hunting for sport is okay as long as its not abused. many animals in the wild hunt for the thrill and for the fun of it and not for the need to eat and survive. as long as we don’t take advantage of this we should be fine.
Is hunting moral
In the story the most dangerous game a hunter named Rainsford falls off of his boat and swims ashore on an island where there is a general living peacefully until Rainsford finds out that he is tired of hunting regular animals so he hunts humans for sport. the general challenges Rainsford to go into the jungle for 3 days and try to survive while the general is hunting him. Rainsford outsmarts the general and survives the three days and wins the deal and is taken off the island.
This story brings up the questions suck as how much is a human life worth and is hunting moral. I believe that hunting is moral because it takes place in the wild so much and we do not acknowledge that there is a circle of life that needs to take place and if it doesn’t then animals have a chance of going extinct because they cannot sustain themselves.
Over the years the number of hunters is slowly decreasing, this is a problem because humans are a big part in the circle of life and if we disappear from that circle the animals will also be affected and hurt because of it.
